Located in the Aegean sea, Skiathos is a part of a cluster of islands known as the Sporades, just east off of the coast of mainland Greece. Tourism to this beautiful Greek island has grown since the 2008 hit film Mama Mia, which was filmed in Skiathos, however despite a surge in popularity - Skiathos still retains its authenticity and charm.
Prague is a beautiful historic city, full to the brim of things to see, do and explore. It’s a great city break option – any time of year. Plus it is easy too! Only a two hour flight from the UK and regular flights out of our regional airport, Bristol, it’s a very accessible city.
Escaping the usual Greek Island crowds and discovering Tolon in the Northern Peloponnese during the holiday season will be a surprisingly satisfying voyage full of intrigue and sheer bliss; quite unexpected for this fairly unknown part of mainland Greece. Welcoming you to Tolon’s gently shelving sandy bay are crystal clear waters provided by the natural springs from the surrounding mountains, so this, combined with the calm, warm Aegean Sea makes it a perfect place for swimming and snorkelling. Tolon’s bustling town centre lies adjacent to the 3km long beach and offers a variety of interesting shops, traditional cafénions and Tavernas to suit most tastes and budgets.
A number of Greek islands and mainland Greece are available from Bristol and new routes mean that you can get to destinations such as Lefkada, Tolon and Parga and Sivota without going all the way to Gatwick for your flight.
You can also fly direct to Corfu and Rhodes from Exeter. (NB: There is a tourist tax of up to €4 per room, per night payable locally which started on 1st January 2018 - not levied to under-16s)
